RENT A TOYOTA POLICY

VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE  Customers must provide a valid Indiana driver's license. 2 Proofs of Indiana residence from the past 60 days are required for those who live in Indiana and have a valid U.S. drivers license from out of state.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS Up to 2 additional drivers can be added. All drivers must be present at the time of pickup with both their driver’s license and current-date vehicle insurance card. 


AGE Drivers must be 21 years of age or older to drive our rental vehicles. 


BUSINESS HOURS Monday-Friday: 7:00am-6:00pm Saturday: 7:00am-2:00pm Sunday: Closed 


FUEL All rental vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel it left with. A fee will be charged for every gallon of fuel needed to refuel the rental after it is returned. 


INSURANCE A valid full-coverage auto insurance policy card must be presented at the time of pickup along with your driver’s license. The presented policy must include collision, comprehensive, and liability coverage. We reserve the right to validate at any point throughout the rental contract date range. If insurance lapses, we reserve the right to repossess the vehicle and incur fees as listed in the repo section of these terms. We do not offer additional coverages to purchase.


PAYMENT Customers must provide a major credit card for fuel, mileage or other charges listed in these terms. The total rental bill will be charged at the time of pickup. If an extension is desired (and an additional reservation has not already been placed on the vehicle), the rental department must be notified at least 24 hours in advance and the total for the extension will be charged to the card of payment on file unless an alternate card is requested. 


PICK-UP/DROP-OF Vehicles must be picked up during open hours. Rentals may be returned after hours by parking the vehicle in a customer parking space and placing the key in a rental envelope in the overnight drop box located in front of the service drive. It is highly encouraged that you take photos of your vehicle if dropping off after-hours to protect yourself against charges once we inspect the vehicle during operating hours.


SMOKING  Smoking of any kind in rental vehicles is strictly prohibited. If the rental vehicle is returned with a smoking odor, $250 will be charged for the process of removing the odor.  


PETS 

Transporting animals and pets in vehicles is prohibited. If a rental vehicle is returned with animal fur or evidence of pets in the vehicle, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged clean the vehicle in order to provide an allergy-resistant rental for the next customer. 

 

TAXES AND FEES  In addition to state taxes, the following (if applicable) will be charged per the credit card authorization form signed at the time of pickup: 

  •  

    • Repossession Fee – $500 + $100 for every hour driven (>2) driven to repo + $400 key replacement fee if key is not returned

    • Insurance deductible â€“ actual $ (depending on insurance company) 

    • Vehicle Body Repair Work/Interior Repair Work - $ Total cost of repair 

    • Windshield – Chip fill: $80 / Replacement estimate: $1500 avg - up to $2000 

    • Smoking Fee - $250

    • Pets $250 

    • Excessive Cleaning $250 

    • Tolls charges- $ charged by tollways paid in full 

    • Wheel rash - $ Total cost of repair 

    • Fuel - $ as listed on rental agreement 

    • Late Fee - $50 fee + daily rental rate 

    • Flat Tire Fee - approx.  Total cost of repair ($35 - $400 depending on tire model/size)

    • Any remaining rental balance - $ paid in full 

    • Driving/parking penalties – $ charged by state paid in full 

    • Lost or stolen key $400


TOLL ROADS AND FEES  If you have passed through any toll roads with our rental vehicle, we will email you a notification and charge the card of payment on file provided at time of pick-up. 


TRAVELING OUTSIDE COUNTRY 

All vehicles must stay inside the borders of the continental-48 United States of America ONLY. 


WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECLINE RENTAL BUSINESS TO PERSONS CONVICTED OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING OFFENSES

  • Theft 

  • Offenses relating to controlled substances

  • Driving while suspended

  • Driving while intoxicated 

  • Criminal recklessness 

  • Unlawful possession of a firearm 

  • Violent Crimes including: 








  • Aggravated battery 




  • Attempted murder 





  • Voluntary manslaughter 


  • Involuntary manslaughter 





  • Reckless homicide 


  • Murder 





  • Kidnapping 


  • Rape 





  • Criminal deviate conduct 


  • Child molesting 





  • Sexual misconduct with a minor 


  • Robbery as a Class A felony or a Class B felony 





  •  Burglary as a Class A felony or a Class B felony 


  •  Operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death 


MYCASE COURT RECORDS   Every rental customer will be checked on publicly available online Indiana court records prior to signing the rental agreement. We reserve the right to deny rental services at our discretion.


VEHICLE REPOSESSION 

  • Failure to complete payments/return rental vehicles in a timely manner will result in refusal of future rentals. 

  • Leisure rentals not returned within 48 hours of their scheduled time without communication will be repossessed. 

Customers are responsible for any vehicle damage or other costs while the rental vehicle is in their possession, and are expected to return rental vehicles in the same condition they received them except for ordinary wear.
